Meet Teresa Demarie
Teresa’s life mission is to heal the world–emotionally, physically and spiritually. As a Medical Intuitive Practitioner, she does her part to fix the broken healthcare system. Her vision is to enable doctors–allopathic and alternative–to heal the root cause of disease instead of putting band-aids on their patients’ symptoms.
She also uses her intuitive gifts to offer insight into her clients’ career and relationship issues so they can stop self-sabotaging habits. And for those seeking knowledge of their soul path journey, she offers past life and Akashic Record readings.
Her Unusual Career Path
Teresa didn’t follow the usual path toward becoming a Medical Intuitive. She always knew that she was highly intuitive and empathetic, but she never realized that she could have a career using those skills.
The Turning Point
To support herself through college, Teresa worked a Unit Secretary on the Pediatric ward at UCLA Hospital. That eye-opening experience proved to be the catalyst for her wanting to be a Medical Intuitive many years later.
At UCLA, she witnessed children suffering from horrific diseases, including leukemia and cystic fibrosis. She watched in amazement as the interns learned a rote, “one size fits all” treatment protocol. Each child was a “case” with a disease rather than an individual with a soul.
The doctors weren’t uncaring, heartless automatons. In fact, they truly wanted to cure the kids. But their training dictated that they treat symptoms rather than the root cause of the disease. Frequently, the symptoms came back, leading to repeated hospitalizations. And sometimes, despite the doctors’ heroic attempts to save them, kids died. Each time a child died, Teresa’s heart broke. She wondered why this had to happen.

How She Found Her True Vocation to Heal the World Emotionally, Physically & Spiritually
Teresa kept her experience at UCLA in the back of her mind during grad school and then as she entered the business world. She always had a gnawing feeling that the healthcare system was broken but she didn’t have a solution then.
After grad school, Teresa first pursued a management career in the corporate world. Then later, she became an Organizational Development Consultant and Career Coach. Yet she felt as if her life were a paradox, with one foot in the practical world and one in the spiritual one. She became restless and longed for a higher calling, a true vocation.
She dabbled in alternative medicine as a client. However, she never imagined herself becoming a practitioner. Still, her heart kept calling her to be a conduit for healing.
Medical Intuition Answered Her Prayers
Finally, on a whim, she went to a Holistic Chamber of Commerce meeting. The speaker that night was a medical intuitive. She not only explained how medical intuition worked but also said that she could train people to do readings. Something touched Teresa’s soul that night. So she decided to give the training a shot.
The Medical Intuitive training was at Scripps Hospital. Surrounded by nurses, reiki and yoga practitioners, and other healers, Teresa wasn’t sure if she fit in. However, she discovered that not only could she do readings, but she was also very good at it. In fact, she completed her required practice hours ahead of her entire class! Quite a feat for someone who wasn’t sure she could even do readings.
Today, Teresa still keeps one foot in the practical world as a coach and a consultant. However, she devotes most of her time to the spiritual world as a Medical Intuitive Practitioner, her true vocation. In so doing, she focuses on finding the root cause of emotional, physical and spiritual imbalances. Consequently, her clients can seek the best solutions for true healing and avoid getting trapped in the broken healthcare system.
